I suspect that is true. Most modern pads have some degree of waterproofing (and sealing of any porosity - apart from kangaroo pads). When badly done it is sticky; when well done it is not stick, and it is very successful. I can understand dye for a visual point of difference, but not paint.. Jessinhotweets
