I would say Magic is more strategically challenging than YuGiOh, but the "walls of text" on a lot of YuGiOh cards, and in particular the prevalence of "tribal" effects in YuGiOh that are much more complex than most Magic tribal effects, make it more confusing. Make a game that doesn't have a mana system, or doesn't have combat, or doesn't have land, or has a victory condition other than reducing your opponent's health.
